Lya Forest Hike
Overview
Lya Forest is an extinct volcano that features a beautiful high-altitude coffee plantation and cloud forest with impressive views. It is located in the Apaneca-Ilamatepec mountain range . Coffee plants are grown between 1400 and 1700 meters above sea level, which is the maximum altitude at which coffee can be cultivated. Exceptional cool climate and a natural humid forest that creates a unique microclimate in the area, making it ideal for hiking and mountaineering.
